On this historic site in Rheinböllen, the heart of RHB Industries beats today. On state-of-the-art production areas and with a well-coordinated, highly specialized team, we are successfully leading the site into independence.
As the exclusive manufacturing partner of AUMOVIO Germany GmbH, we continue to produce sophisticated components at the usual OEM level. At the same time, we are looking ahead: with first-class infrastructure, optimized logistics and decades of know-how behind us, we are strategically perfectly positioned for future industrial partnerships and new large-scale projects.
History
More than 400 years of industrial tradition
From the Hunsrück ironworks to a global pioneer of the automotive industry: the Rheinböllen site has been writing a success story for centuries.
- 1598 - 1959: From the first documented mentions as an ironworks in the Soonwald forest to the formative era of the industrialist family Puricelli.
- 1965 - 1998: Takeover by Alfred Teves (ATE) and later ITT. With peaks of 1,500 employees, Rheinböllen develops into the heart of modern brake caliper and CNC manufacturing.
- 1998 - 2025: Under the Continental flag, the plant becomes the world's leading manufacturer of electric parking brakes. Milestones such as the new logistics center and the production of the 300-millionth brake caliper seal its high-tech status.
- Today: Following the transition to AUMOVIO (2025), we now bundle this concentrated experience in RHB Industries – the perfect combination of proven continuity and new perspectives.
